On August 27, Ningbo Ocean Shipping released its 2026 semi-annual report. Data shows that in the first half of the year, the company achieved a revenue of RMB 3.445 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.66%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 343 million, a year-on-year decrease of 9.28%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was RMB 319 million, a year-on-year decrease of 6.83%; as of the end of the first half, total assets stood at RMB 9.729 billion, up 10.64% from the end of the previous year.

In the first half of the year, Ningbo Ocean Shipping's container throughput exceeded 3.7 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 21%. During the reporting period, the company's near-ocean and trans-ocean business handled 528,000 TEUs, up 27.8% year-on-year; domestic trade business handled 598,000 TEUs, down 3.2% year-on-year; feeder business handled 2.646 million TEUs, up 26.9% year-on-year.

As of the end of the first half, Ningbo Ocean Shipping operated a total of 109 container vessels across 43 service routes, with an average of 140 sailings per week, covering 53 major ports both domestically and internationally. In the near-ocean region, the company increased capacity deployment on core routes to Japan and Southeast Asia, adding a direct Ningbo–Laem Chabang service and supplementary sailings to Bangkok. Meanwhile, the company successfully launched an India route, achieving a strategic breakthrough in its trunk-line network for the South Asian market. On the domestic trade front, the company deepened business collaboration with Beibu Gulf Port and continued to optimize the Qinzhou–Ningbo transshipment corridor. In the feeder business segment, the company further enhanced the synergistic effectiveness of its feeder network in cross-segment resource coordination.

In terms of bulk carrier operations, Ningbo Ocean Shipping completed a bulk cargo volume of 14.923 million tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%. This growth was attributed to the company's long-term commitment to customer service and operational efficiency: integrating customer assurance into routine operational and maintenance mechanisms to ensure consistent service quality; closely tracking shipping market dynamics while pursuing a dual domestic-and-international approach to actively expand market-driven incremental cargo sources; and continuously improving its integrated operational framework by vigorously promoting the "dual-load transport" model and deepening the "two-port-one-route" coordinated operation, balancing loading/unloading efficiency with logistics chain optimization, and striving to establish a high-quality service benchmark with demonstrative impact.

Currently, Ningbo Ocean Shipping ranks 24th on the Alphaliner Top 100 Container Fleet ranking, operating 89 vessels, including 49 owned vessels and 40 chartered-in vessels, with a total capacity of 89,886 TEUs.
